The Foundation commits to True North Classical Academy

The Dennis Bileca Institute for Character and Excellence is proud to announce the funding of $525,000 to True North Classical Academy.  True North is a Classical liberal arts charter school that is opening in August.  It will be the first Classical tuition-free, independent charter school to operate in South Florida.  The Foundation’s financial commitment represents the largest funding in its history.

The support of the Foundation enabled True North to secure a five acre campus containing three school buildings.  In addition, the funds provided True North with the financial ability to hire the highest quality teachers that are devoted to the schools mission.

About the Foundation

The Dennis Bileca Institute for Character and Excellence was established to honor the ideals and principles that Dennis Bileca devoted his life to.  Dennis was a firm believer in the beauty and grandeur inherent in our cultural Heritage and he embodied the Socratic belief that the “unexamined life is not worth living.”  Dennis lived a life seeking answers to life’s great questions.  What is Goodness?  What is Man at his best? What is he capable of becoming? 

His life was a testament to the idea that a life led with character, integrity and love is grand and beautiful.  The Foundation furthers his legacy by helping organizations that are devoted to the Classical education ideals grounded in Truth, Goodness and Beauty.
